A Day of Prayer for Peace in Our World
I the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ
Yet thou, O Lord, art in the midst of us.
Text from The Book of Numbers 6:22-27
And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying,
On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,
The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

From the Epistle to the Romans 10:9-13
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

A Prayer for todayOur Lord,
you are the source of care
behold our joy and anxiety
before what is ahead of us.
We ask for peace between men of our world,
peace between countries and people,
peace in our congregations.
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
