Els Calderers is a manor house situated between Vilafranca and Sant Joan. The house was once at the centre of a large wine estate but like so many others in Mallorca, it fell victim to the phylloxera disease. Reopened in 1993, the 18th-century house is now a museum of Mallorcan furniture and traditions.
The house

They made walking sticks here.
The maid is preparing the servings for a dinner with guests.
In a room besides the dinner room we heard keyboard musik. We learned that the instrument is a clavichord
Lots of dusty bottles in wine cellar
In a loft they exposed much of the tools that had been used and the products that had been produced here. In the photo hazelnuts.
At the way out they sold a special kind of sausage that is made in this area.
In the field there were sheep grazing, and a few of the almond trees were still in bloom.
