Vacation Trip to Wales

 

Betws-y-Coed ("Prayer house in the wood") is a place in the Conwy valley where two big roads meet, the A5 and the A470


Dominic took all occasions to rest his aching back.


We stopped at a viewpoint where we had a good view over the high peaks and Lake Gwynant (Llyn Gwynant)


Looking towards Snowdon


Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) peak 1085 meters above sea level.


Gwynant Coffee House was in a former chapel "Betania"
